Halo ODST Review Is In!!

Well ODST has finally came out and is sitting in the consoles of many across the country. This Halo addition has satisfied many and has left many others with questions, were here to give our spin on it and help those who are still deciding.

Halo ODST is the latest addition to the Bungie Halo series. ODST starts out in the Halo 2 series as the troops of ODST are preparing to drop into battle when a collision occurs crashing your squads ship. Your player awakens hours later completely alone. Your mission is to fight the streets alone in one of the most uninviting habitats to find clues and battle sites to lead you back to your squad. The game is mainly broken down into mission points which are then broken down further into night and day missions. The night missions are mainly focused on the loneliness factor of the situation while the day encompasses major battles, action, and speed.

Halo ODST flexes it's muscles by introducing the new fire fight mode, allowing up to 4 players to face off against increasingly difficult enemies. Fire fight all on it's own is incredible and will have even the most experienced Halo player in depth and involved and sucking up coffee in the mid day hours trying to stay awake which is already reason enough to purchase the game.

The basic game play, graphics, and dynamics are great and the weapons and weapon controls have changed slightley, giving you a different and more satisfying experience that 1, 2, or 3 could not offer. The 6 hour campaign mode maybe short as defined by past Halo players but without a doubt it's one of Bungies best. I highley reccommend this game to anyone who is stuck on trying to make the final decision to leap into ODST or not. Custom Systems gives this game a 9.2 out of 10.
